Short version: Amanah stores records in your browser by default. Optional account sync appears only when cloud services are configured and you choose to create or use an account. Amanah does not include advertising or third-party analytics SDKs.

What you can store

You may enter profile details, lease information, rent-check inputs and results, repair and payment records, checklists, move-in or move-out notes, and condition photos. Do not add information you do not have the right to store or share.

Browser and device storage

In device-only mode, app records are saved using local browser or device storage. They remain on that browser profile or device unless you share them, clear site data, reset Amanah, or uninstall the app. Private or incognito browsing may erase records sooner. Keep your own backup of important evidence.

Optional account and cloud sync

If account controls are available and you create or use an account, Amanah uses Supabase for authentication and encrypted network transport. Your app-state record can be stored in the configured Supabase project and associated with your account identifier. Row-level access rules are designed so authenticated users can access only their own app-state row. Cloud service providers may process technical data needed to operate authentication and storage.

Photos

Photo access is requested only after you choose to attach an image. On the web, selected images are resized before being saved with your local app record. If cloud sync is enabled for your account, record data may be synchronised as part of your app state. Do not rely on Amanah as the only copy of important evidence.

Sharing and external services

Sharing or export occurs only after you choose a share, copy, email, or backup-download action. A downloaded JSON backup may contain your profile, lease, photos, notes, and other Amanah records, so store it privately. Links to Dubai Land Department, email, or other external services are governed by those services’ own privacy terms. Amanah is not affiliated with Dubai Land Department, RERA, or the Rental Disputes Center.

Analytics, advertising, and sale of data

The current app does not include advertising SDKs or third-party analytics SDKs, and Amanah does not sell personal data. Standard hosting providers may retain short-lived security and access logs.

Deletion and retention

Use “Reset account” to remove Amanah’s locally saved app state. If signed in, reset also attempts to sign you out; it does not by itself guarantee deletion of provider-side account or backup records. For cloud-account deletion requests, contact us. Clearing browser site data or uninstalling the app also removes local data.

Security and children

No storage method is risk-free. Protect access to your device and account. Amanah is intended for adults managing rental matters and is not directed to children under 18.
